A certificate for every lead tested

Simple from start to finish

Your leads tested in four easy steps.

Send them to us or let us come to you. We guide you through the arrangements and provide a certificate for every lead tested.

01

Tell us about your leads

Send us the types of leads, an estimated quantity and your postcode. We will confirm the price and arrangements before you book.

Not sure of the specifications? Just describe what you have.

02

Choose what works for you

Once your quote is agreed, send your leads to our workshop or arrange for us to visit your site. We confirm the address, date and any delivery or travel charges.

Please agree the arrangements with us before sending anything.

03

We check each lead

We start with a visual inspection, then carry out the appropriate electrical checks. If a fault is found, we explain the result and can quote for suitable repairs.

Repairs cost extra and only go ahead with your approval.

04

A certificate for every lead

Each lead tested gets its own certificate showing its identity and inspection and test result. Passed leads receive a PASS label; any failed results are clearly recorded.

For send-in jobs, return-delivery arrangements are agreed when booking.

Two ways to get your equipment tested

Send your equipment to us

Send your equipment to us

Ideal when your items can be packed and sent for testing at our workshop.

  1. Request a quote with the equipment types, quantity and any known faults.
  2. Once agreed, we will confirm the testing address, turnaround and return-delivery arrangements.
  3. Label and pack your items securely, and include your contact details and job reference.

Please agree the quote and delivery arrangements with us before sending equipment.

We come to your site

We come to your site

Arrange testing where your equipment is based, subject to availability and an agreed appointment.

  1. Tell us your site postcode, equipment types and estimated item count.
  2. Include your preferred date, access arrangements and any induction or parking requirements.
  3. We will confirm the scope, visit arrangements and any travel charges in your quote.

Equipment must be accessible and available to disconnect for inspection and testing. We will agree any downtime and site requirements when booking.

What would you like us to test?

Tell us about single-phase and three-phase extension leads, adaptors, splitters, MCB boxes and other portable electrical equipment. We will confirm what we can test before accepting the job.

What your service covers

01

Visual inspection first

We inspect the equipment and its cable, plugs, sockets and connections for visible damage or defects.

02

Appropriate electrical testing

The electrical checks carried out depend on the equipment and its configuration. Unsafe items that fail the visual inspection are recorded as failed rather than energised for further testing.

03

A certificate for each lead

Receive a separate certificate for every lead tested, identifying the lead and its inspection and test result, together with pass or fail labelling. The record identifies any tests not carried out and the reason.

Lead repairs quoted separately

Lead repairs, with your approval

If a lead needs repair, we can assess suitable options and quote for the parts and labour. Repairs are charged in addition to testing and are carried out only after you approve the cost.

Where a repair is suitable and authorised, the lead is inspected and tested again as appropriate. An item cannot be marked as passed while an unsafe defect remains.

We will use your details to respond to this enquiry.

Sending a quote request does not book a service or authorise repairs.
