About these terms

This online store is operated by ElectraLead Ltd, trading as ElectraLead Industries. These terms apply to purchases made directly through this website and to use of our online services. Our return and refund policy, shipping policy and privacy policy provide further information. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.

Ordering and payment

Please check the product specification, quantity and delivery address before ordering. An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order; we accept your order when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly agree acceptance earlier. If we cannot accept or fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any payment for the affected goods. If a price or description contains an error, we will explain it and offer you the choice of proceeding on the corrected basis or cancelling for a refund; we will not charge an additional amount without your agreement.

Prices are in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Where our VAT display lets you switch between prices including and excluding VAT, the selected basis is labelled. The total payable, including applicable VAT and delivery charges, is shown before payment. Payment is required before dispatch unless we have agreed separate payment terms in writing.

Product specifications and safe use

The selected product's description and specifications form part of your order. Check voltage, current rating, connector type, pin arrangement, cable specification, length and environmental suitability. Contact us before ordering if you need help choosing a product. Product photographs illustrate the item; screen colours can vary, but goods must match their description.

Use products within their stated ratings and follow the supplied instructions. Installation or connection work that requires electrical competence must be carried out by a suitably competent person. Stop using any damaged or suspect electrical product and contact us. These safety requirements do not remove our responsibility for faulty goods or incorrect advice.

Delivery, changes and cancellations

Available delivery services, charges and estimates are explained at checkout and in our shipping policy. Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. We will try to stop dispatch where possible. If goods have already been dispatched, your applicable cancellation and return rights still apply.

Returns and your rights

Our published return and refund policy includes a 30-day returns offer for unwanted standard catalogue goods, including standard lead lengths assembled to order. It explains return postage, refunds and faulty goods. Eligible consumers also have the legal right to notify us of cancellation within 14 days after delivery and then a further 14 days to return the goods. Standard catalogue goods are not excluded from that right simply because we assemble them after ordering.

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any particular purpose you made known to us and we agreed to. Consumer remedies for faulty goods are separate from change-of-mind returns. Consumer-only statutory cancellation rights do not apply to purchases made wholly for business purposes; our published 30-day returns offer applies as described in that policy.

Accounts and offers

Keep your account access codes secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. Account benefits, discounts and promotional conditions are those stated with the relevant offer. Any eligibility requirements, exclusions and whether offers can be combined will be displayed with the offer or before checkout. Changes to future offers do not alter an accepted order.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill where that loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, your statutory rights concerning goods, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Website use and privacy

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or submit unlawful content. Our website content belongs to us or our licensors; you may use it to browse and purchase products but must obtain permission before reproducing it commercially. Personal information is handled as explained in our privacy policy.

Questions, complaints and applicable law

Contact us using the details below with your order number and a description of the issue. We will investigate and work with you to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts of their home jurisdiction that applicable law provides. Changes to these terms apply to future orders; the terms in force when you ordered continue to apply to that order.
