Leads for your generator outlet

Select a matching blue single-phase or red three-phase connection, then choose the required length.

  • Check the outlet voltage, current and pins.
  • The generator capacity limits the total load.

Connect suitable equipment

Adaptors and protected boxes for specific outlet-to-equipment connections.

  • Read the connection from supply → equipment.
  • An adaptor does not increase the power available.

Changing connector size does not increase generator capacity. Check the generator instructions and the protection requirements of the complete setup.

Run several items from your generator

Match the distribution box input to the generator outlet and keep the combined load within the available capacity.

  • Match the box input to your supply.
  • The combined load must stay within the input rating.

MCBs provide overcurrent protection. Check the required RCD protection separately; an MCB-only box does not provide that protection.

A few checks before you buy

Start with the supply connection, the equipment plug and the cable length.

How do I match a lead to my generator?

Check the generator outlet label and socket: voltage, amperage and pin count. Then check the equipment plug and total load. A blue 230V connection and a red 415V connection are different supplies. Send us a photo of the generator socket and equipment plug if you need help.

Why choose H07RN-F?

H07RN-F is a flexible heavy-duty rubber cable with resistance to abrasion, weather and oil. It is a practical option for frequent handling and repeated outdoor use. Cable type does not increase the capacity of your supply; the conductor size and lead length must suit the load.

Does a larger adaptor give me more power?

No. Available power remains limited by the generator, outlet and protective devices. A connector adaptor changes the connection format. Confirm the generator instructions, load, earthing and required RCD protection before use.
